This series will focus on how the Neurosculpting process can be applied in a dynamic somatic experience. Classes will use physical movement and Neurosculpting visualizations to facilitate the development of internal awareness throughout the mind-body system. Kiefer’s approach to unwinding technique addresses residual neuromuscular tension. Although there is much that can be done externally to, or for a body, there is a place which may be accessed only by the individual. The focus on self-directed mobilization will give participants tools to diagnose, understand, and treat their own self. Students will be guided through personal work, as well as partner exercises.

Classes meet for Six consecutive Friday evenings from 7 – 8:30 MDT and one Sunday evening from 7 – 9pm

October 11, 18, 25

November 1, 8, 15, 24

NOTE: You are also welcome to attend on a drop-in basis. Those classes will be $15 cash payment.

BIO:

Kiefer Avi has been a Certified Neurosculpting Facilitator since 2013. With a familial history in the somatic arts, Neurosculpting quickly blended with his passion for yoga, rehabilitation and dance. Together these practices create a mind-body toolbox which allow for the unwinding and continued management of his own chronic pain. Today, Kiefer presents his research to those who are interested in understanding and unwinding their own patterns. The intention of Kiefer’s work is to engage each individual in their own unique healing process, while drawing from different disciplines. Kiefer’s offerings are a well-rounded mix of physical practice, mental engagement, individual and partner exercises.
